Courses are assessed against these criteria, and not all applications will be successful.​ ​ Do not apply unless: Course timing The course has been launched, reviewed, or updated within the last 24 months, and reflects current professional practice.​ Intended audience The course is designed for existing practitioners, not complete beginners, and assumes prior knowledge or experience.​ Learning structure The course has a clear learning structure, including defined learning outcomes and a syllabus or course outline.​ Professional skill development The course supports professional skill development or progression, such as new skills, advanced application, or a structured professional refresher.​ Completion / assessment Course completion requires more than attendance alone, such as an assessment, practical task, knowledge check, or verified completion criteria.

The Progressive Practitioner Advanced Training Award follows a clear and independent review process: 1. Application (Free) Submit your course details using the online application form. There is no charge to apply. 2. Independent Review Your course is assessed against our professional standards to ensure it demonstrates advanced-level training, supports practitioner progression, and strengthens professional practice. 3. Award Decision If your course meets the required criteria, it is granted the Progressive Practitioner Advanced Training Award. 4. Optional Award Licence Approved courses may choose to license the official award seal for two years, allowing use in marketing materials and public listing as a recognised course. The award itself is granted on merit following independent review.

The Award Licence permits approved courses to display the official Progressive Practitioner Advanced Training Award seal and to be publicly recognised for a period of two years. The licence includes: Official award seal files (PNG, JPG and SVG formats) for digital and print use Right to use the official award seal for the approved course in marketing and promotional materials An official digital award certificate confirming recognition Brand & Usage Guidelines including a list of approved wording for promotional materials Licence term: 2 years from date of issue Limited time offer: £60 The award itself is granted on merit following independent review. The licence fee applies only if you choose to display and use the official award seal.
